Pup Progress

Currently working my butt off on a commission for a family friend, due by Christmas. 3 paintings of a portrait of their 4 dogs. That's...12 dogs. Can I do it? I think so. Will it be difficult? Absolutely. But, I like the way the first dog turned out. Here's hoping I can keep it up. Social life for the next few days: virtually nonexistant.

Here's basically what my painting process is:

The background is in oils (it's been drying for about a week), and the actual dog is in acrylics. Takes about 2 hours per pup.

No Excuses

Not making any excuses for my lack of activity on this website. I just...didn't post. But I'm posting now. Over the past few months, I have been working hard on my portfolio and completed a few commissions (seen below). I'm back now. I will be posting updates every once in a while as I finish up my portfolio before March 1st.

And that's about it for now. I'm currently working on a few dog portraits, an Alex Ross replica of Superman, an original of Batman, and a Spiderman. If you're wondering why I'm so comic-book oriented lately, it is because I have a client who works for a comic book company and is decorating his house ;)
